What the Faulk Hall of Fame

-Memorable Players from my Childhood. Reasons provided if I feel like it.

Lars Tate
No much of a 3 year NFL career (although his TD #'s would have made him a decent fantasy sleeper). So why's he on here? Because I liked him, thought his name was cool (it is), and took a whole lot of shit for it.

Sam Horn
Big time minor league slugger. Would have been the greatest softball player of all time. Hit mammoth home runs, had a mammoth ass, and probably struck out once every 1.5 at bats. In the Hall of Fame for all of the above, as well as, shoving me when I was about 10 years old as a group of fans blocked his way to the bus trying to get his autograph. I wasn't even mad, it was just pretty cool to be shoved by a 6'5" 250 lb(in his dreams) pro player.

Hart Lee Dykes
Another great name, also another in a long line of Patriots 1st round draft busts (in the 80's of course). Pretty strong rookie season, especially considering he played on a team in which 4 QB's attempted as least 90 passes, and not a single one had more TD's than picks. (Jesus, after looking that up, I appreciate Brady even more, which I didn't think was possible) They also had a leading rusher that averaged 3.4 yards a carry. How did this team win a single game, nevermind 5? Back to Dykes, got hurt in year 2 and never played again, thanks to a barroom brawl with Irving Fryar.....his teammate.

Scott "Missin" Sisson
We all wanted to be professional athletes when we grew up, and for a while we all really thought we had a chance. Looking back at Missin Sisson, I still believe I could kick better than him. Bill Parcells, when asked if Sisson could kick in the NFL answered "I don't necessarily think so". This quote, by the way, was when Parcells was Sisson's coach. Sisson also caused a season ticket holder to get kicked out of the stadium when he wouldn't take down his sign "Home of Missin Sisson." Can you blame him, it couldn't have been more true. In this historic 2 year run as Pats' kicker, he missed an astonishing 5 of 21 kicks less than 30 yards, but don't fret, his "big" leg allowed him to convert a whopping 5 of 13 from 40-49 yards. I don't know about the 40-49 yard kicks, but I am sure with some practice I could outkick old Missin Sisson on the chip shots.
